Simply Reglaze accepts payments through any major credit card, debit card, or check when presented to the technician soon after the work is completed. We also offer financing through “pay later” providers such as Klarna and Affirm. If you intend to pay using any of these “pay later” providers, please contact us as soon as possible — we will send you an invoice, which must be paid in full before the work is completed.
Please note that payment is expected as soon as the work is completed. If payment is more than 7 days late, we reserve the right to charge a $75 late fee. If payment is not received within 30 days, Simply Reglaze may file a small claim against the homeowner or property manager. If you do not agree to these terms, please contact us promptly before your appointment to discuss any special arrangements. Using our services clearly indicates your acceptance of these terms.
Before your appointment, we kindly request that you take the necessary steps to prepare the area where the refinishing and reglazing will be performed. It is important to remove all personal belongings from the designated space to ensure their safety. This includes items such as shampoo bottles, soaps, containers, sponges, and any other personal valuables. Additionally, please remove frames, pictures, rugs, and floor mats from the area. Clearing the space will minimize the risk of any accidental damage occurring during the refinishing process.
Furthermore, we kindly ask that you inspect the faucets and valves in the area to ensure there are no leaks. It is crucial to address any potential leaks beforehand, as the reglazing process requires a drying time of 48 hours. Any water that comes into contact with the reglazed surface during this period can cause damage and may potentially void your warranty. By conducting a careful inspection and fixing any leaks in advance, you can help safeguard the integrity of the reglazing and maintain the longevity of the finish.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your belongings if they are not removed prior to our service in the bathroom, kitchen, or any other area where we are providing refinishing and reglazing services. Your cooperation in preparing the area and ensuring no leaks will greatly contribute to a successful and hassle-free reglazing experience.
Reglazing is a professional alternative to replacement. Please review the following disclaimers carefully.
Late Payment & Warranty
If full payment is not received within 7 days of completion, the warranty on materials and workmanship becomes void. The responsibility for defects will no longer be covered, and Simply Reglaze will not honor any warranty claims.
Potential Additional Charges for Major Repair Services
Quotes are provided in good faith based on the pictures submitted by the customer. Be aware that unforeseen charges may apply for issues that are not noticeable in the pictures or were underestimated. These can include multiple chips, holes, cracks, rust, entire fixture stripping, or other major issues, which may result in a surcharge between $35 and $175. Exceptions include major repairs or junctions involving fiberglass, which may carry a higher surcharge.
Wall Paint / Paint
We understand the importance of protecting walls, cabinets and other fixtures during the reglazing process and take great care in using high-quality painter’s tape to minimize any potential damage. However, despite our best efforts, there is a possibility that some paint may come off when the tape is removed. We cannot be held liable for any paint damage that may occur upon the removal of painter’s tape. We strive to handle all projects with the utmost professionalism and caution, but variations in wall conditions, paint quality, or other factors beyond our control may contribute to the paint coming off despite our best efforts.
Sinks After Reglaze
Chips and nips in the reglazing of sinks are not covered under the warranty provided by Simply Reglaze. These damages are typically caused by external factors, such as accidental impacts, rough handling, or normal wear and tear over time. While we take great care in the reglazing process and use high-quality materials, we cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs after the sink has been reglazed and returned to the customer. Please handle the reglazed sink with caution and take preventive measures to avoid any accidental damage.
Stagnant Water, Water Puddles & Surface Indentations
In the rare event that water continues to puddle on a bathtub, shower, sink, or any other surface reglazed by Simply Reglaze, it is the responsibility of the owner, tenant, or user to clean and dry the surface after each use. Stagnant water creates bacteria, which can damage the reglazed finish. Simply Reglaze is not responsible for any damage incurred due to stagnant water, leaks, or hard water issues.
If you use a non-slip mat to prevent slipping and falling, please be sure to remove it after each shower and hang it up to dry. This prevents bacteria growth that can damage the reglazed surface. We do not recommend using mats with suction cups.
Shower Doors & Frames
If you choose to have your doors removed during the reglazing process, please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for the disposal of the doors or door frame. It is your responsibility to contact your local city trash management or relevant authorities regarding proper disposal.
There is a separate charge for removing bathtub and shower doors due to the additional time and effort required. Please consider that removing the doors may render them useless, as the frame tends to bend out of shape during the removal process in 99% of cases. If you decide to have the doors removed but wish to keep them, you must reinstall them yourself within 48 hours of the reglazing completion, or we can schedule a technician to reinstall them at an additional fee. A 48-hour drying period is necessary for the reglaze to set and cure properly before the doors can be reinstalled. We highly recommend discussing your options with our team before making a decision regarding the removal of your doors.
Water Drainage Responsibility
By engaging our services, the customer acknowledges their responsibility to provide Simply Reglaze with a suitable way to drain water used during the refinishing process. It is the customer’s duty to ensure their home has proper drainage for washing fixtures like bathtubs, sinks, showers, and jacuzzis. Simply Reglaze is not liable for any damage resulting from inadequate drainage provided by or at the customer’s premises. The customer must inspect and address drainage concerns before our services begin. By proceeding with the service, the customer agrees to this disclaimer and releases Simply Reglaze from any liability related to water drainage.
Rust
We offer additional services to address rust issues, for which customers may choose to pay extra. However, certain situations may be beyond our control. While we make every effort to fix rust issues and ensure a thorough and durable reglazing process, there are instances where rust may originate from underlying factors such as deteriorating cast iron or cast metal underneath the surface. In such cases, we cannot be held liable for the resulting issues. Circumstances involving underlying structural issues or cast iron/metal rotting may limit the effectiveness of our reglazing process. Customers are responsible for making an informed decision based on our professional assessment.
Workmanship
While our company makes every effort to achieve the best possible results on a reglazed surface, reglazing is an alternative to replacement, and it is not flawless. We strive to create a smooth surface, but environmental factors such as humidity, heat, and air circulation can make it challenging to achieve a 100% impeccable result. Unlike tubs, sinks, and other fixtures manufactured in controlled environments and cured at very high temperatures for days, we cannot replicate those conditions. Sometimes a touch-up may be required to improve the condition of a reglazed surface. If your goal is to have your fixture looking perfect, you should consider replacing it.
Drain Flange / Hardware
Simply Reglaze is a licensed contractor for refinishing and reglazing, but we are not a licensed plumber. If you need hardware removed, you must hire a plumber. Hardware can be reinstalled 48 hours after the reglaze is applied. In about 99% of our jobs, the hardware remains in place.
Surface
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Simply Reglaze is provided with a sturdy surface and foundation to work on. Simply Reglaze cannot be held responsible for any breakage or cracks that may occur during a refinishing and reglazing job if the surface provided is not sturdy or if major rust issues exist, which may cause the bathtub, shower, sink, or jacuzzi to break. We emphasize the importance of a structurally sound surface before beginning. If there are any concerns regarding the stability or integrity of the fixture, we recommend addressing those issues prior to scheduling a reglazing appointment. We cannot accept liability for damage that results from a lack of a sturdy surface or underlying rust issues that compromise the integrity of the fixture.
Additional Long-Distance Travel Fees
Simply Reglaze reserves the right to charge an additional fee of up to $125 beyond the usual and customary rates for long-distance travel to locations situated outside of most metropolitan areas. This fee accounts for the extra time and resources required to travel to remote locations.

Thank you for choosing Simply Reglaze for your refinishing and reglazing needs. We take pride in our work and offer a six-month limited warranty for sinks and a two-year limited warranty for bathtubs, showers, tile walls, and countertops, according to the specific contracted scope of work.
What’s covered
Our warranty covers newly reglazed areas for peeling, blistering, flaking, or coating separation caused by workmanship defects. If such a defect appears within the specified warranty period of your project, the customer must report it to Simply Reglaze within 15 days of occurrence so that proper repairs can be performed. We will inspect the affected areas and perform the necessary repairs. Failure to report any such issue within the 15-day reporting period will void the warranty.
What’s not covered
Our warranty does not cover areas of fading or damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, weather, or accidental damaging occurrences. Additionally, severe reglaze blistering and separation of caulk from cupping due to intense and/or direct heat are not issues of workmanship and are not covered. It is the customer’s responsibility to read and follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by Simply Reglaze; failure to comply with these guidelines may result in voiding the warranty.
Rust
Rust can spread to every part of your tub, and once rusting begins, it is a process that cannot be stopped. While resurfacing can extend the life span of your tub, it is not a guaranteed fix in the long run. Surface rust is not a significant issue, but tubs that need body repairs due to rusted holes or rust from underneath the tub should be replaced rather than resurfaced. Continuously monitor any area previously damaged by rust, and always call your resurfacing company as soon as you realize the rust problem is returning so we can treat it before it gets worse.
We are committed to providing high-quality services and products, and we stand behind our workmanship. Please remember to read and follow the provided care and maintenance instructions to ensure the longevity of your newly reglazed surfaces.
This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you” or “your”) and Simply Reglaze (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing the use of our refinishing and reglazing services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- 1. Services Provided. We provide refinishing and reglazing services for various surfaces including but not limited to bathtubs, sinks, countertops, and tile surfaces. The Services may also include the removal of old finishes, repair of damage, and refinishing and reglazing with new coatings. We will provide the Services in a professional and timely manner.
- 2. Payment. Payment for the Services is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. If payment is not received within 30 days of completion, we reserve the right to charge a late fee of up to 12% per month, or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less.
- 3. Prompt Payment. By contracting our services, you agree to pay Simply Reglaze in a timely manner. We expect payment for services rendered immediately after the work is completed. If you fail to pay promptly, we will revoke any discounts provided at the time of booking and revert charges to our usual and customary rates. Any and all special deals or discounts, whether you were aware of them or not, will not be honored in such cases.
- 4. Payment & Warranty. Full payment for services rendered is a condition of all warranty coverage. Failure to pay for services rendered in full voids the warranty in its entirety — Simply Reglaze will not honor any warranty claim on materials or workmanship for any job that has not been paid for in full.
- 5. Cancellation Policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you fail to provide sufficient notice, we may charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total cost of the Services.
- 6. Warranty. We provide a 2-year warranty (kitchen sinks 6 months only) on all refinishing and reglazing work performed. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period. If a defect arises during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the affected area at no additional cost to you.
- 7. Limitation of Liability. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Services, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data, or other intangible losses. Our liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the Services.
- 8. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
- 9. Termination. We may terminate this Agreement and/or suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time without prior notice if you breach any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- 10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which we provide the Services, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the same state.
- 11. Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Services and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
- 12. Changes to the Agreement. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Services after any modifications shall constitute your acceptance of such modifications.
- 13. Environmental & Substrate Conditions. The customer acknowledges that conditions beyond our control — such as high or low humidity, temperature extremes or rapid changes, rain or moisture, airborne dust or contaminants, and pre-existing substrate damage — can cause cosmetic or performance issues (for example: runs, sags, orange peel, uneven coating, color variation, or delayed curing). By engaging Simply Reglaze the customer accepts these potential outcomes, agrees to provide access and allow reasonable time for inspection and corrective work, and understands that we will make commercially reasonable efforts to address such issues but cannot be held responsible for defects caused solely by conditions outside our control.
- 14. Chemical Odors. Our reglazing process uses chemicals that can emit strong odors. In most cases the odor dissipates within a few hours, but in the worst case it may linger for up to 24 hours. Please ventilate the area during and after the process. The chemicals can be harmful while being sprayed and with prolonged exposure; we recommend avoiding the immediate vicinity during spraying and limiting exposure for at least 24 hours after completion. Clients assume all risk and liability associated with the process and agree to hold our company harmless for any damages or adverse reactions.
- 15. Painter’s Tape & Wall Paint. We use painter’s tape to protect walls from the reglazing chemicals. While we take every precaution to remove it without causing damage, we are not responsible for any paint that may come off during removal, especially where walls have not been painted properly or the paint is old and flaking. Please inspect your walls beforehand and inform our technicians of any areas of concern.
- 16. Refunds. If, despite our best efforts, repairs do not work as intended, we will issue a full refund for the services provided. To be eligible, customers must contact us within 30 days of completion with detailed information regarding the issue; we will then evaluate the situation and determine whether a refund is appropriate. Certain factors are beyond our control (for example, exposure to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals). Any refund issued will be the extent of our liability, and processing may take up to two weeks.
- 17. Acknowledgment. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree, you should not use our Services.
