Stabilize the base
We locate exactly where the floor flexes and inject expanding structural foam beneath it through small, sealed relief points — rebuilding a solid, non-spongy foundation. It’s left to fully cure so the floor never flexes again.
Prep the surface
The repair area is deep-cleaned to remove all soap scum, body oils and mold, then thoroughly abraded. That aggressive prep is what lets the bonding compound bite in and form a permanent mechanical bond — the step DIY kits most often get wrong.
Fuse the inlay
We mix our commercial-grade two-part fusion compound, spread it evenly, and press a rigid inlay panel down firmly from the center outward to force out every air pocket and squeeze out excess adhesive, then weight it while it sets.
Finish & cure
Edges are cleaned for a smooth, watertight transition and the repair is left to cure fully. For a seamless look, we can reglaze the entire tub or shower over the inlay so the whole surface matches in a bright, like-new finish.
