What the photos show

Reading the colors photos

Any surface we refinish can be coated in a different color: bathtubs, sinks, tile and countertops. This set shows three of them: a pink bathtub recoated in a new, lighter shade, a kitchen counter run taken to white, and a dark brown tile shower recolored white with a black accent band and bench.

In the Before frames the fixtures are not necessarily damaged; the problem is the color. Pink, tan and dark brown surfaces from earlier decades, and grout lines on the tile shower that had darkened over time.

In the After frames the new color is continuous across the whole fixture, including the tile grout on the shower, which is sealed under the coating. Bright white is the most requested color, but the accent band on the shower shows that two colors on one fixture are possible when the masking is planned for it.
