Reading the vanity sinks photos
A vanity job can be just the bowl or the whole top. This set includes one-piece cultured-marble tops with the bowl molded in, drop-in porcelain sinks set into tile counters, long double vanities, a corner vanity with a built-in makeup desk, a pedestal sink and a shell-shaped bowl. Some were dated colors: a pink sink in a yellow tile counter, almond and peach cultured marble, and a black oval bowl in a dark marble counter.
In the Before frames look for yellowed and dull cultured marble, staining and rust around the drain, chips filled with mismatched patches, and tile tops with darkened grout. Several were photographed with the masking already up, so the cabinets, mirrors and floors are covered in paper and drop cloths.
In the After frames the bowl and top are one even white surface. Faucets and drains were masked in place rather than removed, and the cabinet below was protected and left as it was: vanity refinishing covers the top and sink, not the cabinet. Keep the top dry for 24–48 hours while the coating cures.
Pricing & service
Most vanity tops cost $350–$800, depending on size and material; a stand-alone drop-in or pedestal sink is priced as a sink, $250–$500. See the bathroom vanity refinishing service page.
