Reading the tile walls photos

Tile wall refinishing covers ceramic tile and grout on bathroom walls, wainscoting and shower surrounds without removing a single tile. The two walls here are a half-height bathroom wall with a window and a full-height tiled shower wall, photographed after the valve trim was pulled for the work.

In the Before frames the tile is sound but the grout lines have gone gray and the surface is dull; on the shower wall the lower courses show the staining that comes with daily water contact.

In the After frames the wall is a continuous white surface with the tile pattern visible and the grout sealed beneath the coating. Trim, windows and fixtures were masked, and the coating stops cleanly at the edge of the tile.
