What the photos show

Reading the jacuzzi tub photos

These are the oversized tubs found in primary bathrooms: a corner soaker under a skylight, a drop-in garden tub set into a deck, and jetted tubs with the jet fittings still in place. Replacing one means opening the deck, disconnecting the pump and electrical, and re-tiling. Refinishing means none of that.

In the Before frames the basins are yellowed or dull rather than badly damaged, with staining in the bottom of the bowl and around the jets and drain. One tub is shown with its wooden deck framing exposed and masked during the work.

In the After frames the basin and the flat deck rim are white and glossy, with the jet fittings and drain re-exposed once the masking came off. The tub is ready to fill about 24 hours after the final coat.

Pricing & service

Jetted and garden tubs are quoted by size, starting from the standard $350–$500 bathtub range. Heavy damage or stripping an old coating carries a $35–$175 repair surcharge, disclosed before work begins. See the Jacuzzi & whirlpool refinishing service page.
