Reading the tile floors photos

Both floors in this set are bathroom tile: small-format ceramic tile with grout lines, one in a full bathroom with a tub and the other beside a tub deck. Refinishing a floor keeps the tile, the subfloor and the transitions to the tub and door exactly as they are.

In the Before frames the tile itself is intact, but the grout lines have darkened and the surface has lost its finish, so the floor reads as dingy even when it is clean.

In the After frames the floor is a uniform glossy white with the tile grid still visible under the coating and the grout lines sealed. A bathroom floor is walked on wet, so a slip-resistant treatment can be added on top; it is offered as a separate service.

Pricing & service

Tile floor refinishing starts at $400 and is quoted by the square footage and condition of the floor; see the tile floor refinishing service page.
